Kings Priory School is Tynemouth's all-through academy, educating around 1,350 pupils from Reception to Sixth Form on a single campus. Formed in 2013 from the merger of The King's School Tynemouth (an independent school) and Priory Primary School, it is now part of the Woodard Academies Trust. The school is non-selective and co-educational with a Christian foundation. Ofsted rated it Good in June 2024.
