Cullercoats Primary School is a mainstream community primary school on Marden Avenue in Cullercoats, close to the coast in south-east North Tyneside. It serves children aged 3 to 11, from Nursery and Reception through to the end of Key Stage 2, and had around 421 pupils on roll at its most recent count. The school sits at the heart of Cullercoats village and maintains strong ties to its local community.
The school's values are captured in four pillars: Achieve, Believe, Create and Dream, underpinned by an aim to develop a lifelong love of learning. Its curriculum draws on cognitive science and Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction, and it runs the OPAL outdoor play and learning programme alongside enrichment beyond the classroom. Ofsted judged the school Good at its most recent graded inspection in April 2022.
