About Stagecoach Performing Arts North Tyneside

Stagecoach Performing Arts North Tyneside is part of the nationwide Stagecoach network, offering weekly performing arts classes for children and young people. The school is led by principal Joshua Bradley, who holds a BA (Hons) and a postgraduate degree in education and taught performing arts in London before relocating to the North East. It serves North Shields, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth and is accessible to parts of Northumberland including Blyth and Cramlington.

Classes are grouped by age, from Early Stages for four to six year olds through Main Stages for six to eighteen year olds and Further Stages for older students, including a Level 3 professional pathway delivered with UAL. Across all groups, students study the three musical theatre disciplines of singing, dancing and acting, with an emphasis on building confidence alongside performance skills. Courses run in line with academic terms, with automatic re-enrolment each term unless parents give notice.
