Rockcliffe First School is a first school on Grafton Road in Whitley Bay and a member of The North Tyneside Learning Trust. Part of the borough's three-tier system, it educates children aged 3 to 9, from Nursery and Reception through the early primary years, and has around 272 pupils on roll before they move on to middle school.
The school aims for children to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens, offering a broad and creative curriculum that includes beach school sessions and a strong arts and music programme; it holds the Artsmark Platinum Award.
