Tynemouth Market is a weekend market set within Tynemouth Metro Station on Station Terrace, a restored Victorian railway station on the Tyne and Wear Metro network. The atmospheric covered setting, with its ironwork and glass canopy, provides a distinctive backdrop for one of the North East's best-known markets, drawing large numbers of visitors to the coast each weekend. The market is dog-friendly, and paid parking is available on the west side of the station.
Running every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3:30pm, the market brings together a huge variety of stalls offering everything from vintage clothing, jewellery, antiques and collectables to local produce and gifts, alongside an array of street food vendors.
