About Sports Camps NE
Sports Camps NE is an award-winning children's activity provider in the North East, founded by Matt Lawn, who also created Football Squirts. It runs energetic, skill-building multi-sport holiday camps across several North Tyneside venues, with its North Shields base at Whitehouse Primary School on Whitehouse Lane. Other sites include Walker, Great Park in Gosforth and Ponteland, giving families a spread of locations to choose from during school holidays.
Camps cater for children aged five to twelve and mix traditional sport with plenty of variety, covering football, basketball, gymnastics, dance, hockey, tennis, volleyball and tag rugby alongside ninja-warrior courses, dodgeball, arts and crafts, talent shows and themed days. The provider also runs its dedicated Football Squirts sessions for younger footballers. All staff are DBS-checked, and coaches are described as handpicked professionals experienced in working with children.
