Davanti Classico is a traditional Italian ristorante set within the Grade II listed Tynemouth Metro station on Station Terrace. Trading in the heart of Tynemouth village, it aims to capture a sense of la dolce vita with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, positioning itself as a destination for relaxed lunches, celebrations and family gatherings alike. A private dining space known as the Murano Room is available for hire, adding an intimate option for larger parties and special occasions.

The kitchen focuses on classic Italian cooking made with seasonal ingredients, with a menu built around handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas and indulgent desserts alongside a curated wine list. A dedicated Sunday menu offers roasts with rich sauces and comforting sides inspired by family traditions, while a quicker Rapido menu and takeaway collection service cater to those with less time. Open seven days a week, the restaurant serves lunch and dinner throughout the week and into the early evening on Sundays.
