Crust Social

About Crust Social
Crust Social is an independent Neapolitan-style pizzeria on Percy Park Road in the heart of Tynemouth. The business began as a pop-up that built a loyal local following before establishing a permanent home, and the team describe themselves as obsessed with doing things right, from the fermentation of the dough through to service. The result is a relaxed, community-minded spot whose name reflects its aim of bringing people together over good pizza.
The menu centres on freshly made Neapolitan pizzas, from classics such as Margherita and pepperoni to prosciutto, mortadella and rotating seasonal specials. These are rounded out with small plates and sides including focaccia, olives, garlic bread and salads, plus desserts such as pistachio cheesecake, tiramisu and Nutella dough sticks. The kitchen opens in the evenings midweek and from midday at weekends, with delivery available through Uber Eats.
