The Cove is a cocktail, wine and tapas bar on Front Street in the heart of Tynemouth village, a short walk from the beaches and Tynemouth Priory. It opened in late 2024 in the former ORA premises, adding to the run of independent food and drink venues along the village's busy high street. The ground floor operates as a relaxed bar for drinks and small plates.

Upstairs, the venue offers a la carte dining in a more formal setting. With its combination of a walk-in bar and a sit-down restaurant, The Cove caters both to those stopping for a cocktail or glass of wine and to those settling in for a full meal on the coast.
