Henderson Memorials is a long-established, family-run monumental mason based at the Old Post Office on Saville Street in North Shields. It has been part of the community for more than 75 years and is a member of the British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons (BRAMM), meeting recognised standards of workmanship, fixing safety and professional integrity. It works with funeral directors and families across North Tyneside and the wider North East.

The firm creates bespoke headstones and memorials in granite and stone, along with additional inscriptions for family graves and the cleaning, repair and refurbishment of existing memorials. There is no hurry — many families wait several months for the ground to settle before commissioning a memorial — and the masons work in line with each cemetery's regulations, guiding families on styles, materials and lettering.
