About R Johnson Funeral Directors

R Johnson Funeral Directors is an independent, family-run funeral director on Howard Street in North Shields, and has cared for families across the area for more than 60 years. A genuinely local firm, it offers a personal service with a familiar point of contact, and is on hand to bring a loved one into its care at any hour.

The firm arranges traditional and simple funerals, burials and cremations, guiding families through the choices involved, the order of service, burial or cremation, and the costs, at their own pace. As with any funeral director, it is fine to contact more than one and ask for a written estimate.
