The final Wellness Weekend of the National Gallery loan, with families decorating a shared mural plus free movement and Slow Looking sessions.
About This Event
On the last day of the National Gallery Masterpiece Tour loan of Pierre Mignard's The Marquise de Seignelay, the drop-in Open Studio session (11.30am to 3pm in the learning room) is a collaborative Mignard-themed collage, with families adding to one big mural using a variety of art materials. No booking is needed. The morning starts with a free Express Yourself movement session at 9.30am, using slow movement to interpret the painting, followed by a free Slow Looking session at 10.20am. Each is limited to ten people and must be booked in advance.
