Tynemouth Market runs every Saturday and Sunday throughout the year, from 9am to 3.30pm, filling the beautifully restored glass-and-iron concourse of Tynemouth Metro Station. Traders offer a huge variety of goods, from antiques, vintage clothing and books to arts, crafts, plants and street food, making it one of the North East coast's best-loved weekend outings. Entry is free and the market is fully covered, so it runs whatever the weather. It recurs every Saturday and Sunday across the autumn, and is easily reached on the Tyne and Wear Metro.
