About This Event
North Sea Weekender is a celebration of coastal life along the Tynemouth and Whitley Bay coastline, featuring surfing, stand-up paddleboard racing (including The Big Dippa), open water swimming, music, photography, mindfulness sessions, and more. The paddleboard events run throughout Saturday from 9am to 5pm, hosted by Northern SUP Race Team and Northerly Swell. Organised by North Tyneside Council and supported by the North of Tyne Combined Authority, the weekend brings together the best of the North Tyneside coast in one action-packed programme.
