About This Event

While the headline concerts at the Priory are ticketed and sold out, the Mouth of the Tyne Festival's daytime programme is completely free and open to all across the weekend of 11-12 July. Front Street and the historic Tynemouth Metro Station fill with international street performers, walkabout acts, a community parade, a jazz stage and a silent disco, with an under-5s play-and-arts area at the station. It's a relaxed, family-friendly way to enjoy the festival atmosphere without a ticket — wander the stalls, catch the buskers and performers, and soak up one of the North East's best summer weekends by the sea.
