About This Event

The Mouth of the Tyne Festival returns to Tynemouth from 9-12 July 2026, transforming the coastal town into a celebration of music, street arts, and community. Set against the dramatic backdrop of Tynemouth Priory and Castle overlooking the North Sea, the four-day festival features open-air evening concerts alongside a spectacular free daytime programme of street performers, a community parade, jazz stage, and silent disco. One of the North East's most atmospheric summer festivals.
