About This Event

The countdown to Christmas officially begins under the Spanish City dome, as local host Steve Walls leads the moment the 30ft Christmas tree lights up at 5pm. Before and after, there is mulled wine and carol singing, while children can join in with stilt walkers, bauble decorating and balloon modelling, with a resident DJ keeping the festive soundtrack going. Tickets are sold online only and under-2s go free. Entry is also free if you book a table at Trenchers (set menu, 3pm to 6pm, £29.95 for two courses or £35.95 for three) or at the 1910 Restaurant (3pm to 5pm). Children must be accompanied by an adult.
