About This Event

The Tynemouth Station Book Fair is a lively, friendly gathering of 40-50 booksellers under the grand Victorian iron arches and glass roof of Tynemouth Station's West Concourse. Held four times a year (April, June, August, and October), it's one of the North East's best-loved secondhand book events, offering an eclectic range of thousands of antiquarian and secondhand books to suit all pockets. From 2026 the fair is managed by North Tyneside Art Studio (NTAS). Browse everything from rare first editions and vintage maps to affordable paperbacks. The station is on the Metro line, so it's easy to reach — and the Tynemouth weekend market runs alongside on the other concourse, making it a perfect morning out.
