About This Event

Segedunum Roman Fort marks the far end of Hadrian's Wall, and across this weekend (31 July to 2 August) it fills with gladiators. Meet costumed re-enactors, see weapons and armour up close and learn how Rome's fighters trained and fought. Under-21s go free, so it is an affordable family day of Roman history.
