About This Event

Led by Karl Egeland-Eriksen and Brenda Turnbull, the walk looks at the most northerly Permian-age rocks on the Northumberland coast, where Yellow Sands and Magnesian Limestone are exposed by the Ninety-Fathom Fault, with Coal Measures rocks to the south and Carboniferous channel sandstones at Table Rock in Browns Bay. The route crosses sandy beach and rocky foreshore as well as the coastal path. Bring sturdy footwear, outdoor clothing and lunch, and use the grid reference rather than Eventbrite's suggested location.
