About This Event
The Dust Raisers are a Newcastle three-piece serving up rock'n'roll, rockabilly and rhythm and blues classics with a guaranteed good-time swagger. The line-up pairs Steve Bee on lead vocals and bass with Carl Bartlett on lead guitar and backing vocals and Kev Smith on drums, a tight unit that has cut its teeth headlining its own gigs and supporting national and international acts across the region's pubs, clubs and festivals. Their afternoon set leans on the golden-era jukebox: driving upright rhythms, twanging guitar and plenty of familiar sing-along favourites to get the beer garden moving. It is a relaxed, foot-tapping way to spend a Saturday by the river in the heart of the Ouseburn Valley.
